Eclectic bits and bobs

Canal art an eclectic collection sums up my diverse hand-curated, hand-painted range. Additionally, as my stock is constantly changing with new pieces arriving all the time, it is hard to sum everything up. This page focuses on all sorts, do visit my kitchen page for other ideas. As a result, the best advice is to visit my Instagram or Facebook pages. Usually, I post a painted piece every other day (and a history post in-between). My search for interesting objects to paint goes on all year, so do message if you are after something specific.
Canal art a wide range

Firstly, my core collection of canal art includes coasters, boxes, lanterns, and enamel mugs, not to mention keyrings, small slate hearts and as December approaches Christmas baubles. These are all new items and prices start at £3. Secondly, comes the the upcycled pieces, this is where the fun begins! Piggy banks, clocks, and kitchen items all make regular appearances. Finally, larger pieces such coal buckets, planters, and watering cans.
Canal art on slate

Slate is a great product to paint on due to its natural properties and different shapes and sizes. As a result I paint canal art on an extensive range of slate products. For instance, over the years this has included house and garden signs. Sometimes these have been relatively small, others A4 size. If you have a sign in mind drop me a message. Prices for slate items range from £3.50 upwards. More photos below in the gallery.

Boxes and Baubles

Boxes have always been a core item since I started painting. Although, my style has developed and become more confident, the basic idea of a beautifully painted box has remained the same. However, despite my love of boxes they are extremely labour intensive. Therefore, I always feel customers get true value for money with a box! I usually have a variety of shapes, sizes and styles in stock. Boxes start from £4.50 for a small box with a painted lid.

During the Autumn months I hand-paint Christmas baubles. These usually come in variety of colours and finishes.
Planters and coal buckets
Throughout the year I paint planters in different shapes and styles. Hanging planters, with a variety of uses, are one of my most popular lines. Similarly, I paint larger plastic barrel type planters. As a result I usually have both of these items in stock. Small planters and larger planters cost between £6-£10 each.

For the winter months I often paint coal buckets or hods. Usually, I work with customers to help them find a coal bucket that fits their needs. I also paint galvanised buckets – perfect for kindling or logs. So, if you need a coal bucket let me know.
